Before we begin, it's important to point out that successful online learners have been identified has having certain characteristics. We want to make sure that you have those characteristics as well. Remember, we WANT you to be successful. Frustration is not in our vocabulary! While there are a number of online assessments on the Internet, we found the assessment at the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center as being one of the easiest to complete.

This will help you determine what aspects of online learning you already have and others that you may need to focus on in order to be successful. It's not a test, only an assessment to help you gauge where your online strengths lie (there are other great resources on the left hand column of that webpage if you're interested and want to explore more topics on distance learning.)
